In December, two older compressors were replaced with new, highly efficient compressors. This measure saves us more than 1,000 kWh of electricity per month while increasing performance. These savings are attributable entirely to lower consumption when idling and more intelligent control.

At the turn of the year, P&R Gerätetechnik GmbH modernised its compressed air system. Consumption analyses and improvement measures initiated through our environmental management system showed that targeted improvements to our compressed air system could save substantial amounts of electricity.
