We support customers and their development partners in transferring existing concepts, circuits and product versions into prototypes, pilot runs and series production. Manufacturing data, component availability, testing strategy and assembly requirements are coordinated with everyone involved at an early stage.

Involving production planning early makes it easier to align materials, component placement, testability, protective coating and device assembly. Technical development decisions remain with the customer or their development partner. P&R contributes the perspective of the future manufacturing process and provides practical feedback on feasibility.

Prototypes and pilot runs
We manufacture functional prototypes and pilot runs from approved documentation. Findings from assembly, testing and device integration are reported to the customer and their development partners in a structured way. Any necessary changes can then be assessed and approved before series production begins.

Test concepts and test systems
Together with the customer, we define the inspections required for the assembly or device during production. P&R implements approved test procedures, integrates programming and functional tests into manufacturing and involves suitable specialists when further development work is required.
Working with development partners
When hardware or software changes are required, P&R works with the customer’s development team or external specialists. We coordinate the manufacturing interface, provide findings from prototypes and testing and support the transition to series production. Complete in-house product development by P&R is not part of our service portfolio.
